The man in the picture is Mr. Asanee Polchan, he is a fighter for democracy in Thailand.


During the years 1960-1983 he had to take political asylum into the forest and spent many years in the forest.

In the forest, he wrote a song titled Duan Pen, which was about homesickness and about hope to return home someday.

But he did not come out, except this song that he gave to Khun Pongthep Kradonchamnarn brought out of the forest.

Which has many artists to sing and is another legendary song.



Finally, Mr. Asani did not return to Thailand he died in Laos in 1987 ..

Only his songs have returned home.
